Maintenance Planner

**The Role**
Plan and coordinate plant maintenance activity through analysis of failures or breakdown occurring in the plant and costs, ensuring the availability of parts needed during planned maintenance; shutdowns and management of the EWO system.

**Requirements**:

- Matric or N3 + Trade
- Trade or Technical qualification
- 3 years’ experience within maintenance planning environment
- Computer Literate
- SAP PM Experience
- Professional maintenance Activity, Pillar and Step 0 fundamentals

**Additional Requirements**
- Create and review the maintenance plans and jobs, by updating and reviewing changes, in order to optimize utilization of engineering resources, in conjunction with the Operations Management;
- Inspects the completed work in line with the plan.
- Identifies and plans work to be completed during Plant shutdowns;
- Manages the SAP PM system, and submits system management reports to Operations Manager
- Manages the EWO System
- Carries out job loading for maintenance personnel
- Analyses trends, failures and costs by gathering information regarding breakdowns and recommend changes to improve maintenance effectiveness;
- Ensures that condition monitoring activities are correctly executed;
- Maintains a technical library of equipment drawings, test certificates, correspondence and technical information;
- Compiles equipment reports as required by Operations Manager
