Senior Draughtsman in Sheet Metal Manufacturing

**Brief description of the vacancy**:
A sheet metal manufacturing company based in Pretoria West is seeking a Senior Draughtsman to start immediately

**Responsibilities**:

- Reading of various drawings and ability to convert it into a Solidworks package
- Schedule assignments and communicate details to all individual in the CAD department
- Participate in all production meetings
- Generate complex drawings in Solidworks according to specifications
- Do follow up checks on completed drawings
- Create Data Packages
- Create cutting files
- Understand the bending, laser, machining and welding procedures
- Use of all measuring tools
- Liaison with quality department
- Identifying various components with regards to drawings
- Make adjustments on drawings as required from other departments

**Experience required**:

- Min 3 - 5 years’ experience required in manufacturing
- Experience in using measuring equipment like tape measure & vernier

**Qualifications required**:
**Computer Skills required**:

- Experience in Solidworks
- Experience in AutoCAD
- Experience in Sigmanest
- Draughting qualification will be an advantage
