**Description**:
**Job Title: Experienced Fitter & Turner (2 vacancies)**

**Job Type**: Permanent (with a 3 months’ probation period)

Location: Killarney Gardens, Cape Town - must already reside in Cape Town

**Salary**: R15 000 to R18 000 Nett per month (dependant on experience)

Working hours: Monday - Thursday 08h00 - 17h00 / Friday 08h00 to 15h00 / Saturdays applicable with required / Overtime (applicable)

**Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Set up and operate conventional machine tools, including lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
- Fabricate and assemble parts to create precision components.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal functionality.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to achieve project goals.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet industry standards.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Fitter and Turner.
- Red Seal certificate is preferred but not mandatory.
- Previous experience in the manufacturing and maintenance sector is highly desirable.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
