We are looking for an explorer who has a passion for sales and assisting in providing individuals with a once in a lifetime opportunity to travel the polar regions with Quark

As a Polar Travel Sales Advisor, you will prospect for new business, upselling and cross-selling within our existing database of past and current customers delivering results against a set target. This role provides focused support to the outside sales teams, directing marketing efforts with more leads, closing deals and growing revenue. Your achievements are directly linked to Quark Expeditions' top-line growth. You will work closely with the Global Customer Services team and provide outstanding customer service.

We are based out of our office on the Waterfront in Cape Town, and ask for you to work with the team in the office (this is not a remote working role)

We offer a full-time permanent position, working 40 hours per week, the shifts will all be afternoon/evening shifts with varying start times, anytime between 3pm - 7pm local time.

**What you will be doing**:

- Qualifying and disqualifying inbound leads in a high-volume environment
- Meeting and exceeding monthly sales targets while driving outstanding customer service at all times
- Converting sales leads and opportunities to upsell and cross-sell where possible
- Offer and sell all ancillary products, e.g. Pre/post, flights and insurance
- Answer customer post-sales enquiries via phone and live chat outside of the client services business hours
- Maintain detailed and accurate notes in the Salesforce CRM for a successful transition to the Client Service team

We are also requiring flexibility to work varying shifts, weekends and holidays as required to support the needs of customers.
