Overview:
**Warehouse Supervisor - Johannesburg**

This position is responsible to oversee the general operations of the warehouse, stock and will have one employee reporting into the position. Overall recording and maintaining of inventory, advising the imports received and items exported. Processing stock and stock movements and ensure all related processes pertaining to incoming and outgoing stock are maintained. Your role will report into our Procurement Manager in Cape Town.

**Responsibilities**:
**A day in the life of our Warehouse Supervisor includes...**- Arrange collections with freight agents and get quotes from different agents to secure best rate- Reconcile freight account & maintain goods dispatched register - whilst writing out manual delivery notes as applicable- You will also manage the process of return to stores notes- Manage the dispatch of goods as per delivery notes and stock transfer notes whilst you physically check that items delivered agree to delivery note- Only dispatch goods to approved customers where order number has been obtained and ensure all delivery notes are signed by the customer or freight agent- Issue parts / raw material to jobs in accordance with Material Requisitions
- Manage all goods-in and goods-out processes
- Ensure goods received are correctly recorded for data capture in the correct time period and follow-up on outstanding purchased orders (collect goods from suppliers as required)- Help obtain competitive quotes for local purchases and keep inventory up to date- You will lead on all general housekeeping in store (Cleaning and Packing shelves), ensuring adherence to relevant Health and Safety requirements as well performing stock counts- Maintain tools store and ensure adequate control over tools- You will have a hands-on approach to understanding our business and assist with the repair of equipment as required- Administer daily enquiries for spares, quote and availability together with our sales coordinator to ensure on-time delivery
