**Purpose**:

- We are seeking a self-driven and highly competent Executive Director to lead and influence our organisation towards favourable growth, and to design and direct strategies that support and enhance our organisational operations;
- Duties for the Executive Director will include managing company assets, optimising financial operations, providing leadership to all staff, establishing business goals, ensuring tax compliance, advising the Board of Directors on organisational activities, overseeing and streamlining daily operations, improving staff performance, and executing special business projects;
- Your exceptional stewardship and strategic planning skills as an Executive Director will aid our organisation in promoting out mission and objectives, maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, achieving organisational goals, and maintaining sound financial practices;
The exceptional Executive Director should streamline our organisational operations, effectively and efficiently direct operational budget, improve revenue, direct our business strategy, and enhance relations with the media, internal stakeholders, staff, and surrounding communities;
- Develop and implement strategies aiming to promote the organisations mission and "voice";
- Create complete business plans for the attainment of goals and objectives set by the Board of Directors;
- Build an effective team of leaders by providing guidance and coaching to subordinate managers;
- Ensure adherence of the organisations daily activities and long-term plans to established policies and legal guidelines;
- Direct and oversee investments;
- Emphasise the continued creation of value for the organisations membership leading to member retention;
- Uphold the values and traditions of the organisation as stipulated in the Constitution, Bylaws and Code of Conduct of the organisation;
- Forge and maintain relations of trust with government departments, industry partners and external authorities, both local and international;
- Act as the public speaker and public relations representative of the organisation in ways that strengthen its profile;
- Be visible and confident to speak publicly (conferences) to the media and to present in board room and formal situations;
- Review reports by subordinate managers to acquire understanding of the organisations financial position;
- Drive the strategic deliverables as set by the Board of the organisation;
- Devise remedial actions for any identified issues and conduct crisis management when necessary;
***Requirements**:

- Proven experience as Executive Director or in other Senior / Executive Managerial position;
- Experience in developing strategies and plans;
- Experience in running marketing campaigns and projects;
Strong understanding of corporate finance and measures of performance;
An analytical mind capable of creative thinking and ability to solve problems;
- Outstanding organisation and leadership capabilities;
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and public speaking skills;
- MSc / MA in Business Administration or relevant field;
***Executive Director Responsibilities**:

- Developing and directing organisational strategy;
- Drafting organisational policies and philosophies;
- Overseeing day-to-day business activities;
- Conducting performance reviews;
- Preparing comprehensive budgets;
- Reporting on revenue and expenditure;
- Engaging with community groups;
- Creating sound business plans;
- Coaching department heads;
- Overseeing financial accounts;
***Executive Director Requirements / Qualifications**:

- Registered Professional Quantity Surveyor PrQS or a Degree in Business Administration or equivalent, highly desirable;
- Financial management experience;
- Highly organised;
- Project management experience;
- Highly ethical behaviour;
- Effective communicator;
- Motivational skills;
- In-depth knowledge of financial practices;
- Public relations and marketing knowledge;
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
