**PURPOSE**:
The Helpdesk Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Imvelo FMs Helpdesk computerised system. The incumbent ensures the professional and timeous resolution of all calls logged in accordance with the performance metrics in the operations subcontract PPP agreement and its schedules.

**MINIMUM JOB INHERENT REQUIREMENTS & FORMAL EDUCATION**:

- Grade 12/Matric with a series of short & longer course certifications. 
- EXPERIENCE 2-3 years of relevant experience

**COMPETENCIES**:

- Knowledge of BCEA & LRA Knowledge of the Basic Conditions of Employment Act and the Labour Relations Act to establish whether employment standards and practices are fair and law abiding.
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act to minimise health and safety risks within the company.
- Oversee, direct and instruct subordinate employees in the performance of their job

**SKILLS**:

- Attention to detail Possess the ability to complete tasks while demonstrating a through concern for all areas involved.
- People management skills Possess the ability to create and foster relationships with colleagues/subordinates and clients/service providers.
- Call centre operator skills Use clear and appropriate language when interacting with clients/service providers to evaluate enquiries and provide useful solutions.
- Computer literate, including MS Word & MS Excel Possess general knowledge of computers, software, hardware, and how they operate.
- Information system skills Possess the skill to understand and operate the company’s information system.
- Communication skills Possess the ability to convey/share ideas, requirements and plans with colleagues/subordinates and clients/service providers.
- Report writing Possess the skills to write a formal report that elaborates on varying issues using facts, charts, and graphs to support arguments/findings.
- Client relationship management Manage the company’s interaction with clients through establishing a positive working relationship.
- Administrative ability Possess the qualities that allow you to perform well and complete designated tasks timeously.
- Problem solving skills Possess the ability to determine the source of a problem and find an effective solution.
- Interpersonal skills Possess the ability to communicate and interact effectively with colleagues/subordinates and clients/service providers

**Salary**: R28,000.00 per month
