Field / Trail Guide

**OBJECTIVE**:
A fantastic opportunity has opened for a Lead Trails Guide professional to join an exceptional team in a well-known game reserve in Limpopo in the Waterberg area. Our client seeks a fully Qualified Lead Trails Guide who can conduct drives and walks in a Big 5 Territory. Standard Lead Guide duties and responsibilities will apply. Previous experience in similar position required. Responsibilities include guiding guests, on foot and by vehicle, providing a holistic safari experience. Vehicle & equipment management/maintenance form part of this position.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- You will partner with the Lodge Management team to ensure our guests have a world-class Game viewing experience.
- You will take your guests on drives and walks.
- Hosting meals for our guests
- You will be required to assist with maintenance around the lodge
- Ability to seamlessly interact with guests

**REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS**:

- Proven experience (3-5 Years)
- Exceptional trails experience - ARH, DEET, CATHSETA, FGASA 1 or 2 plus full trails qualified
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- SASSETA Rifle Competency
- A valid South African Code 8 Drivers license and PrDP
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbally and written
- Experience with International guests
- Excellent guest relations that will go above and beyond
- Disciplined, neat, and well-presented person with sober habits
- Physically fit and able to attend to bush walks for long distances
- Someone who pays attention to detail
- Passionate for the Bush life and guest services

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Vaalwater, Limpopo: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
