Sales Representative

The purpose of this position is to ensure achievement of new business objectives, managing and expanding existing client base, targeting and conversion of key opposition accounts, setting and achieving sales targets and revenue growth generated through personal performance, ensure that best management practices are followed in all areas of responsibility regarding new equipment sales procedures and actions, promoting a customer oriented service and to implement and uphold actions in line with company strategic vision.

**Requirement**:

- Grade 12 / Matric plus relevant tertiary qualification
- Kerridge system experience would be advantageous
- Code 08 drivers license
- Forklift technical sales experience / knowledge preferable
- Proven, successful track record and sales experience in the materials handling or related industry, 5 years’ experience in similar position
- Knowledge requirements: o Sales and Marketing — Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services
- English Language — Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar
- Computers and Electronics — Knowledge of computer hardware and software
- Production and Processing — Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective distribution of goods
- Administration and Management — Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modelling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources. o Economics and Accounting — Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, and the analysis and reporting of financial data
