“TRS is urgently looking for a Senior Project Manager with strong project management and engineering capabilities within Oil & Gas Industry to join our leading client’s project team based at SANDTON and travel time to time to MOZAMBIQUE.”

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Lead and execute engineering and project delivery of small initiatives and projects within in GSO.
- overall accountability for plant support in the projects and engineering space for Tier 4 and 5 projects, for Mozambique assets with support from senior facilities engineers.
- Integration with teams from MGP (Mozambique Gas Projects) will be required that will provide project management, cost control, contract specialist, commissioning and construction support.
- Will be accountable for the portfolio of projects from initiation to execution and completion.
- Also define the capability and assurance requirements for the engineering and project delivery disciplines within the company and sanction the appointment of appropriate staff and external organisations as required.
- Responsible for specific engineering and project delivery studies to support the assets and other business requirements.
- Frequent travel to the plant or being based at the plant where support is required will be expected.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS**:

- Accredited Bachelors / Masters Degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 10-20 years’ experience in the Petrochemical industry.
- Proven track record in feasibility, conceptual and front-end and detailed engineering design.
- Working knowledge of engineering codes and standards relevant to the GSO industry.
- Track record in cost, schedule and quality control, including CAPEX and OPEX estimation and contract change control, control base control, management and reporting.
- Strong project management skills
