Monocle is looking for an aspiring professional to join our team as an **IT Administrator**. This role will be responsible for assisting internal team members and service employees by providing hardware and software technical support, diagnosing issues, while providing a stellar customer experience.
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Inbound support tickets / inquiries and resolving internal employee issues quickly and efficiently.
- Maintenance of all IT equipment used by employees in the course of their duties.
- Assistance in installation and configuration of network devices (e.g.: routers, access points, IP cameras and Access Control).
- Maintenance of Teams Room Equipment.
- Front-line technical support for various software and hardware issues.
- Diagnosis of problems affecting IT equipment and/or Internet connectivity.
- Follow-up and supervision of third-party service-providers when they are onsite.
- Provide basic training to new employees on how to utilize any IT equipment required.
- Experience setting up, deploying, and servicing Microsoft Windows based desktops / laptops.
- Identification of ways to improve the service provided by the IT department to the company.
- Holds a Bachelor's Degree, Advanced diploma or equivalent in IT Administration.
- At least 3 to 4 years IT support experience required with a proven track record of success.
- Have a proven track record of working in a technical support / help desk role supporting a high number of employees (remote and in person).
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems quickly and without a high degree of supervision.
- Experience setting up, deploying, and servicing Microsoft Windows based desktops / laptops.
- Basic knowledge of networking configuration and maintenance; LAN/WAN, Wireless network setup and security.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Act with discretion and confidentiality.
- Be well-organized and energetic and can manage daily tasks effectively.
- Excellent computer skills and a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
**In addition, the following would be advantageous**:
- Have Certifications in Microsoft 365 Administration.
- Experience with Ubiquiti network devices.
- Experience with Logitech Teams Room Devices.
- Have previous experience with Azure Active Directory and Intune Experience.

- Works well under pressure to meet the operational team objectives.
