**Purpose**:

- Manage the overall Warranty activities coordination.
- Monitor Problem Solving in coordination with all the project team members.

**Mobility**:All Gibela Operation Site (Dunnottar Manufacturing Site, Western Cape, KZN, Gauteng and Eastern Cape Province)**.

**Minimum Educational and Skills Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical or Mechanical)
- 10 to 15 years’ project management experience (including but not limited to team management, budget, and schedule management)
- Problem Solving
- Project Management
- Presentation and Report Writing Skills
- Good knowledge of implementing and managing Quality, Safety and Environmental systems

**Responsibilities**:

- Warranty and reliability growth activities:_
- Ensure the trains are repaired according to contractual obligations.
- Follow the KPI on Fleet defects and manage the action plan to solve the defects.
- Make sure Consignment Stock is always available for each fleet.
- Ensure the repair loop is managed in Gibela and suppliers / PU.
- Ensure failures data captured are pertinent and relevant.
- Ensure the Warranty budget is respected (hours / material /travels) and prepare all financial reviews MPR, BPR, SPR, CPR.
- Attend all project meetings and report all Warranty KPI to Gibela and PRASA.
- Manage the staffing plan according to the validated budget, roll out plan and organization.
- REX consolidation from projects through regular update of database.
- Retrofits activities:_
- Manage the retrofit of trains in each fleet compared to the applicable baseline.
- Schedule and prepare Retrofits in each depot (material available / Team available / Trains available...)
- Organise the training of local teams in the 5 depots and/or organise Field Modification team travels when necessary.
- Ensure the Field Mod budget is respected (hours / material /travels) and prepare all financial reviews MPR, BPR, SPR, CPR.
- Attend all project meetings and report all field modification KPI to Gibela and PRASA.
- Manage and support the warranty team in all activities of the department.
- Manage the staffing plan according to the validated budget, roll out plan and organization.
- REX consolidation from projects through regular update of database.
- Evaluate the impact of modifications on the reliability.
- Monitor problem solving and instructs team to start corrective actions.
- Manage problem solving actions by coordinating the actions of the relevant stakeholders in the project.
- Request warranty implementation teams to perform the appropriate corrective actions.
