Disa Primary School is a no-fee public primary school serving the Bonteheuwel community that has partnered with Common Good in the Collaboration Schools Network. This is a fresh and innovative partnership model aiming to create outstanding schools that give every learner, regardless of their background, the opportunity to receive an excellent education.

- Use data to inform effectiveness of teaching strategies and whether or not learning is taking place.
- Use Blended learning in the classroom to appeal to the 21st Century Learner.

The new Educator will benefit from the support of the Common Good Education central team and the Collaboration Schools network.

**Requirements**:

- Possess a recognised 3 to 4-year foundation phase teaching qualification
- Be CAPS trained
- Registered with SACE
- Be prepared to participate in the extra-mural activities and the teacher development programme offered by the school
- Ability to teach in English and Afrikaans
- (Home Language - English / First Additional Language - Afrikaans)
- Intermediate level competency using Microsoft Applications (MsWord, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Obtain a police clearance

This is a **fixed term contract post** with the School Governing Body of Disa Primary School starting 1st January until 31st December 2024
