This is a permanent position based full-time in Cape Town.
- Responsibilities:

- Utilise technology to manage stock accuracy and availability across multiple distribution centres.
- Employ data-driven approaches to plan efficient routes for direct-to-customer and retail orders across all regions.
- Take charge of managing both in-house and third-party delivery partners, optimising for customer service and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee the seamless execution of new store launches and merchandising requests through the delivery team.
- Maintain freezer asset inventory, ensuring availability and handling maintenance requests.
- Track and improve perfect order fulfilment, continuously enhancing customer service.
- Lead and manage a team of 3 delivery drivers and merchandisers.
- Coordinate warehouse operations, maximising efficiency in storage, handling, and distribution.
- Implement best practices for inventory control to minimise stock-outs and excess inventory.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations about distribution and transportation.
- Foster a safe working environment for all employees by establishing and enforcing safety protocols and practices.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, operations management, quality assurance, engineering, or a related field.
- An understanding of distribution strategies, supply chain management and inventory control.
- Tech-savvy mindset, comfortable using distribution software and systems for shipment tracking and management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with various stakeholders.
- Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic business environment and handle pressure gracefully.
