Mambo's is searching for an Assistant Store Manager to help drive our retail operations and provide top-notch customer service.

We rely on our talented Assistant Store Managers to use their exceptional leadership skills and business savvy to support their team's performance and drive the store's success.

In this position, you'll work closely with the Store Manager to build a team of service-minded Cashiers and Shop Assistants, all while executing processes and procedures that ensure a consistently wonderful customer experience at Mambo.

What You'll Do:

  1. Embody and communicate Mambo's values and brand philosophy to customers and teammates alike.
  2. Support the Store Management Team in efficiently running your store's operations within the ever-growing retail landscape.
  3. Manage scheduling, time-off, and payroll for all team members.
  4. Act as the in-store troubleshooting expert for all administrative processes.
  5. Oversee stock management and processes.
  6. Coach our team members through skills development and process trainings.
  7. Provide the absolute best service to each and every customer.
  8. Continually offer direct feedback and support to your teammates on the sales floor and national operations team.
  9. Create an inclusive workplace culture by treating all teammates and customers with respect.

Who You Are:

  1. Backed by 2+ years in a management role at a customer-focused, operationally excellent retailer.
  2. Previous retail operations experience including administrative tasks and stock management.
  3. Confident leading a team, selling, overseeing operations, and driving sales performance.
  4. Successful at holding others (and yourself) accountable and establishing trust among direct reports.
  5. Exceptionally organized and proactive.
  6. A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  7. An out-of-the-box thinker and resourceful problem-solver when faced with challenges.
  8. Able to create and share a compelling vision that inspires and motivates your team.
  9. Flexible and dependable with the ability to work varying schedules, including weekends and special events.
