The aftermarket value chain organization in the Resource Industries Sales, Services, and Technology division has a great opportunity for a Supply Chain Planning Engineer to support our growing Component Rebuild Centre Work Order Management team.

The successful incumbent will perform analysis to identify Component Rebuild Centre production plans, pinpoint limiting factors in the extended value chain, and implement solutions to achieve dealer CRC Rebuild Conformance targets. Additionally, the incumbent will manage one or more dealer engagements within an identified marketing region.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Act as liaison with dealer CRC, Inventory, and Planning personnel to identify rebuild plans.
  2. Analyze rebuild plans and work order data to identify part availability constraints.
  3. Collaborate with PSORs, PSLD Customer Services, and other Caterpillar personnel to identify and develop solutions to meet CRC throughput targets.
  4. Provide dealers with visibility to CRC Component Coverage, identifying dates and quantities dealers will receive parts.
  5. Restore and maintain material flow to support dealer engine PEX and customer fleet health.
  6. Provide regular project updates to the CRC Work Order Management Program Manager.

Basic Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in an accredited Engineering curriculum or equivalent experience.
  2. 10+ years of value chain experience in Product, Manufacturing, and/or Parts Distribution.
  3. 3+ years in Aftermarket Parts related experience related to Order to Delivery planning processes, execution processes, or project leadership roles.

  7. Influencing Through Expertise: Ability to use effective influencing tactics and strategies.
  8. Effective Communications: Ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas and information.
  9. Managing Multiple Priorities: Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives and projects.

Top Candidates will also have:

  1. Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and systems.
  2. Understanding of end-to-end aftermarket value chain from mine sites to Caterpillar's supply base.
