Key Responsibilities

  1. Leadership & Strategy: Lead and manage the provincial business unit to achieve growth, profitability, and developmental goals.
  2. Business Development: Develop operational strategies to generate new business and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
  3. Client Experience: Ensure a seamless client experience by managing all aspects of client relationships.
  4. Financial Performance: Grow the provincial loan portfolio and maintain healthy financial ratios.
  5. Stakeholder Engagement: Strengthen relationships with local communities, government bodies, and agricultural leaders.
  6. Operations Management: Oversee daily operations, including lending, product sales, customer service, and risk control.
  7. People & Performance Management: Lead, motivate, and develop employees to foster a high-performance culture.
  8. Governance & Compliance: Ensure alignment with policies, risk management, and audit standards.

Qualifications & Experience

  1. Education: BCom, Business Sciences, or equivalent in Banking / Financial Services.
  2. Experience:
  • 5-8 years in Development Finance or Commercial Banking.
  • 5-8 years in Credit / Lending / Loan Assessment (Due Diligence & Financial Modelling).
  • 2-3 years in a management role (Branch or Sales Manager) with experience in operations, sales, and stakeholder management.

Skills & Competencies

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office & SAP
  • Strong financial analysis and business acumen
  • Expertise in credit and loan assessment
  • Excellent stakeholder management and customer service skills
  • Leadership and team management expertise

Additional Requirements

  • Willing to travel extensively
  • Flexibility to work extended hours when necessary
