About the Role
Our client is looking for a dynamic and knowledgeable Mathematics Teacher to inspire high school students in Tembisa, Gauteng. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective mathematics instruction, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills. This role involves guiding students through complex mathematical concepts and preparing them for academic success at higher levels. The ideal candidate is passionate about mathematics education and committed to creating an inclusive and challenging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach mathematics to high school students, ensuring curriculum coverage and student comprehension.
- Develop engaging lesson plans, assignments, and assessments to cater to varied learning needs.
- Foster a positive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages participation and intellectual curiosity.
- Provide academic support and guidance to students, identifying and addressing learning difficulties.
- Collaborate with department members on curriculum development and school-wide initiatives.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status with a degree in Mathematics or related field.
- Proven experience teaching Mathematics at the high school level in Gauteng.
- In-depth knowledge of the national mathematics curriculum and assessment standards.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to utilize educational technology to enhance learning.
