About the Role
Our client is seeking a creative and versatile Digital Content Creator to join their marketing team in Upington, Northern Cape . This role is responsible for producing engaging and high-quality content across various digital platforms, including social media, blogs, and the company website, to enhance brand presence and engagement. You will work closely with the marketing manager to brainstorm content ideas, develop creative assets, and ensure brand consistency. The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, excellent writing skills, and a good understanding of digital marketing trends. This hybrid role offers a blend of collaborative office work and remote flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Create compelling and original content for digital channels, including blog posts, social media updates, graphics, and short videos.
- Write clear, concise, and engaging copy tailored for different platforms and target audiences.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies and editorial calendars.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, grammar, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends and best practices in content creation.
- Assist in managing and scheduling content across various digital platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in digital content creation or a related role.
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative content across multiple digital formats (written, visual).
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Proficiency with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite basics) and social media platforms.
- Good understanding of SEO principles and content optimization techniques.
