Tax Accountant position available in Brackenfell, Cape Town.

Are you an experienced tax accountant with 3-5 years of expertise? Our client, a tax and accountancy firm based in the Northern Suburbs, has an exciting vacancy

You would be required to prepare tax returns for individuals and companies, while showcasing your accounting qualifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Process monthly/annual accounts on QBO/Xero or Sage.
  • Submit VAT 201 returns promptly.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of general ledger, trial balance, and final adjustments for financial statements (individuals, companies, trusts).
  • Prepare working papers, company tax calculations, and finalize annual financial statements and tax returns on e-filing.
  • Skillfully monitor and prepare individual client tax returns.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Ideal candidate would have worked previously in a Taxation Accounting Firm or at SARS.
  • Residing in Northern Suburbs (essential).
  • Own reliable transport.
  • Must have a Tertiary Accounting qualification.
  • Fully bilingual (English and Afrikaans).
  • Salary will be based on experience between R25 000 – R30 000.
