About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly organized and experienced Telecoms Field Technician Supervisor to lead their field operations team, operating in a fully remote capacity. This role involves managing and guiding a team of technicians responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications equipment and infrastructure across various locations. You will ensure that field operations meet high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency, providing remote supervision and support. This is a unique opportunity to manage field operations from a distance, leveraging strong leadership and technical acumen in the telecoms sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of field telecom technicians , ensuring work is completed efficiently and to company standards.
- Provide remote technical guidance, troubleshooting assistance, and support to field teams.
- Monitor technician performance, conduct remote quality assurance checks, and provide constructive feedback.
- Manage work schedules, assign tasks, and ensure optimal resource allocation for field operations.
- Oversee inventory management for field equipment and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies across all field activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in supervising field operations or technical teams, preferably in the telecoms sector.
- Strong understanding of telecommunications installation, maintenance, and repair processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills for remote team management.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues remotely and guide technicians through complex procedures.
- Proficiency in using field service management software and communication tools.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
