Remote Senior Manufacturing Operations Lead

Our client, a global leader in specialized component manufacturing, is seeking an experienced and strategic Remote Senior Manufacturing Operations Lead. This role is pivotal in overseeing and optimizing manufacturing operations across various sites, ensuring adherence to global standards for efficiency, quality, and safety. - Develop and execute strategic operational plans to achieve company objectives for efficiency, quality, and cost.
- Oversee the performance of multiple manufacturing sites, ensuring standardized processes and best practices are implemented.
- Lead and mentor remote operations managers and production teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Drive key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production output, OEE, scrap reduction, and on-time delivery.
- Implement and manage Lean Manufacturing initiatives and other process optimization programs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations across all sites.
- Collaborate with supply chain, engineering, and product development teams to optimize the end-to-end manufacturing process.
- Utilize advanced data analytics and reporting tools to monitor operational performance and identify areas for intervention.
- Manage operational budgets and ensure cost-effective resource allocation.
- Facilitate effective remote communication and collaboration among distributed teams.
- Master's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Demonstrated success in leading and improving complex, multi-site manufacturing operations.
- Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence methodologies.
- Proven ability to manage and motivate remote teams effectively.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent understanding of supply chain, quality management, and EHS principles.
