We are on the lookout for a highly skilled and adaptable Web Designer to become a key player in our vibrant team. The role holder will craft compelling and efficient website designs for a diverse clientele, ensuring that each project not only meets but surpasses expectations. The work will encompass a full spectrum of web design tasks – from initial concept through to final implementation – leveraging the role holder's deep understanding of current design trends and digital tools. The role requires someone with an exceptional grasp of both web and graphic design principles, meticulous attention to detail, and proficient management of digital content. Strong proficiency in WordPress is essential, and additional expertise in Shopify is appreciated.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Design and Develop: Craft visually appealing and user-friendly websites that enhance the user journey.
  • Innovate Within Systems: Implement creative solutions within various content management systems.
  • Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest design and technology trends to ensure all projects remain cutting-edge.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Present creative concepts to internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Versatile Project Management: Efficiently shift between different customer projects, providing tailored, consultative insights.
  • Quality and Precision: Maintain a strong work ethic and meticulous attention to detail.
  • High-Paced Environment: Thrive while managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic setting.
  • Site Maintenance: Oversee site functionality, including updates to plugins, tools, and content.
  • Collaborative Design: Work closely with clients and project teams to align design initiatives with project goals.
Candidate Profile
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in web design and development, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • E-commerce Expertise: At least 2 years' experience managing e-commerce sites.
  • CMS Mastery: Exceptional knowledge of WordPress and familiarity with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Visual Composer.
  • Design and Usability: Strong understanding of UX/UI principles, responsive design, and troubleshooting/debugging techniques.
  • Creative Initiative: A proactive approach to innovation in web design.
  • Branding Insight: A solid understanding of branding elements such as color theory and typography.
  • Hands-on with a high level of personal accountability for delivering quality and timely work.
  • Exhibits strong leadership, social & interpersonal skills, a positive can-do attitude, and creativity.
  • Well-developed spoken and written communication skills and the ability to tailor style to relevant audiences, and successfully liaise with people at different levels. Excellent English language fluency; additional languages preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, solution-driven, highly organized and detail-oriented with good decision-making and time management skills.
  • Independent, hands-on, and takes accountability to deliver solutions and results.
  • Anticipates and adapts quickly to changing organizational and business needs. Able to make decisions and solve problems involving varied levels of complexity, ambiguity, and risk.
  • Proven leadership and team player skills, with ambition to excel in the role.
  • Ability to adapt and work under pressure in a smaller, dynamic, flexible team environment; along with being part of a bigger matrix organization.
