You will be responsible for providing a comprehensive range of nail services, from basic manicures and pedicures to intricate nail art designs and advanced nail enhancements. Key Responsibilities
- Perform professional manicures and pedicures, including cuticle care, shaping, and polishing.
- Apply and maintain various nail enhancements, such as gel, acrylic, and builder gel.
- Create intricate and artistic nail designs based on client requests and current trends.
- Provide expert advice on nail care, health, and product selection to clients.
- Ensure all equipment and workstations are sanitized and maintained according to strict health and safety regulations.
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently, ensuring timely service delivery.
- Stay updated with the latest nail techniques, trends, products, and nail art innovations.
- Upsell additional services and retail products to clients, contributing to salon revenue.
- Maintain accurate client records, including service history and preferences.
- Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all clients.
Requirements
- Professional certification in Nail Technology from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience as a Nail Technician.
- Proven expertise in creating diverse and detailed nail art designs.
- Proficiency in various nail enhancement techniques (gel, acrylic, dip powder).
- Strong understanding of nail anatomy, health, and safety protocols.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy salon environment in Sandton .
