About the Role
Our client is seeking a diligent Industrial Engineer with expertise in quality systems to contribute to their operational excellence remotely. This role focuses on developing, implementing, and maintaining robust quality control and assurance processes across all production and service operations. You will be instrumental in ensuring products and services meet the highest standards by analyzing quality data, identifying root causes of defects, and implementing corrective and preventive actions. Working collaboratively with teams across different locations, you will foster a company-wide commitment to quality and continuous improvement. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who values precision and systematic problem-solving in a remote work setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive quality management systems (QMS) aligned with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Analyze quality data, including defect rates, customer feedback, and process performance, to identify trends and root causes.
- Design and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
- Develop and conduct training programs for employees on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Lead and participate in internal and external quality audits.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and R&D teams to integrate quality considerations into product and process design.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial engineering, with a specialization in quality assurance and control.
- Proven experience with quality management systems, statistical process control (SPC), and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and audit procedures.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis software.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
