About the Company

We are working with an established advertising organization serving healthcare, pharmaceutical, and medical audiences. This role is ideal for an experienced healthcare or pharmaceutical editor who understands the importance of clinical accuracy, claims substantiation, regulatory requirements, and Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) review processes.

The position is fully remote and international. Candidates must be comfortable working as an independent contractor initially, with the possibility of discussing an employee-of-record arrangement in the future based on business needs and performance.

Because the team collaborates closely with its New York-based operation, candidates must be able to work the required EST schedule and maintain a professional remote work environment.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Review Important Safety Information (ISI), fair balance, references, and other required compliance elements.
  • Review & Revision Tracking: Track reviewer comments, requested changes, and revisions throughout the review process.
  • Documentation & Quality Control: Maintain style sheets, QC checklists, and other documentation to ensure consistency across projects.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with copywriters, designers, account teams, and other stakeholders to resolve editorial and compliance-related issues.
  • Final Review: Ensure final materials are accurate, polished, consistent, and ready for review or production.
