Babylonstoren is looking for a dynamic and experienced Food and Beverage (F&B) Operations Manager to oversee multiple restaurants and functions on the farm. This role requires a strong leader with a passion for training, operational excellence, and service delivery.

The ideal candidate must be skilled in guiding and motivating a team of managers, waiters, and bar staff, with exceptional knowledge of wine and bar operations to maintain the highest hospitality standards. Requirements:
  1. Minimum five years of experience in an F&B operational management role overseeing multiple outlets.
  2. Proven track record in staff training and development, with the ability to coach and uplift team to deliver exceptional service.
  3. Extensive wine and beverage knowledge: understanding of wine lists, bar operations, and beverage menu development.
  4. Strong leadership and team management skills: must be confident in leading, guiding, and driving a team of long-serving managers and waiters.
  5. Hands-on operational approach: must lead from the front, ensuring smooth service across all outlets.
  6. Exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills: ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  7. Ability to implement and maintain SOPs to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  8. High-energy, can-do attitude, and proactive mindset.
  9. Strong knowledge of POS systems, stock control, and cost management.
  10. Ability to process data and deliver reports using Excel, Micros, and Sage.
  11. Willing to work flexible hospitality hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee the daily operations of multiple restaurant outlets and functions, ensuring seamless service delivery.
  2. Develop and implement training programmes for managers, waiters, and bar staff to elevate service standards.
  3. Recruit, onboard, and train new staff as required to ensure a high-performing and well-integrated team.
  4. Enhance beverage offerings by curating innovative wine, cocktail, and non-alcoholic drink menus in line with the Babylonstoren experience.
  5. Motivate, lead, and coach a team of managers and staff who are well-established in their roles, ensuring continuous growth and performance.
  6. Uphold and refine service SOPs, ensuring that guest experiences meet the highest hospitality standards.
  7. Work closely with the culinary team to align wine pairings with the culinary offering and enhance the overall guest experience.
  8. Take responsibility for stock control, ordering, and cost management to maintain operational efficiency.
  9. Ensure smooth guest relations and problem resolution in a fast-paced environment.
  10. Foster a positive, can-do work culture that drives performance, efficiency, and team morale.
  11. Maintain high hygiene and health and safety standards across all outlets.
