THE JOB AT A GLANCE:

Contract Duration: Permanent/ Months

• Managing inbound inventory (Raw material and packaging) 274 Sku;
• Managing outbound inventory and ensuring safety of (Finish goods);

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE:

• Performing interorganisational transfers for co-packers;
• Managing the flow of returnable pallet, drums and shippers;
• Ordering Chep equipment (pallet and flow bins);
• Conducting monthly Chep equipment audit and managing the level of stock to reduce daily rental charges;
• Reconciling Chep account;
• Managing the issuing and returning of materials to production and dairy production jobs close out and reconciliation;
• Receiving, planning and calling off the materials from suppliers;
• Communicating with suppliers to schedule and expedite deliveries;
• Running monthly expired lots report and follow up on required action plans;
• Running daily QC report and action as required;
• Ensuring that FIFO and FEFO is adhered to;
• Preparing and conducting monthly stock count and cycle counts;
• Leading stock takes and ensuring adherence to policy;
• Leading stock take variances investigations and closing on root causes;
• Leading MECP initiatives.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Matric or equivalent;
• A minimum of 1 year in a manufacturing environment (preferably FMCG).
