Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain microservices-based applications using AWS, Azure, Node.js, and Python.
  • Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with external services and databases.
  • Build scalable, fault-tolerant, and efficient cloud-based applications on AWS and Azure platforms.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using best practices.
  • Implement security measures and ensure the application follows industry best practices.
  • Work with front-end developers to integrate React-based user interfaces with microservices.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure high performance, availability, and scalability.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for smooth deployment and automated testing.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing and microservices architecture.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Cloud Platforms: Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, Kubernetes, S3, Azure Functions).
  • Backend Development: Proficient in Node.js and Python for building scalable and efficient microservices.
  • Frontend Development: Experience with React.js for building dynamic, responsive user interfaces.
  • API Development: Expertise in designing RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party services.
  • Databases: Experience with relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases.
  • Containerization & Orchestration: Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerizing and orchestrating microservices.
  • CI/CD: Experience with continuous integration and deployment pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
  • Version Control: Familiar with Git for source code management.
  • Monitoring & Logging: Proficient with cloud monitoring tools like AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, and logging frameworks.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of microservices architecture.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for writing clean, maintainable code.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with serverless architectures (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).
  • Knowledge of message brokers like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS SNS/SQS.
  • Familiarity with event-driven architectures and asynchronous processing.
  • Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks.
