Responsibilities:

  1. Analyses past, present and future business environment.
  2. Analyses business processes to determine problems, risks and opportunities for improvement.
  3. Reviews processes and conducts process audits, as required.
  4. Designs new business processes.
  5. Formulates strategies and guidelines to improve the business environment.
  6. Documents requirements including data modeling, interface layouts, data flows, screen and report layouts, etc.
  7. Works closely with systems analyst, other Business analysts, project support analyst, project and work delivery manager to design and implement solutions within constraints.
  8. Investigates and defines requirements for business processes.
  9. Identify opportunities to improve process and reduce waste.
  10. Facilitates the implementation of new or enhanced processes.
  11. Provides support and facilitates sessions for end users, e.g. training.
  12. Consult and engage with business process owners, managers and relevant users on feasibility studies and establishing business and systems requirements.
  13. Proactively communicate and collaborate with various teams to analyse information needs and functional requirements.
  14. Deliver artefacts needed: Business / functional requirement specifications, Wireframes, Workflow / Process flow diagrams, Data Models, Building of Prototypes.
  15. Conduct detailed analysis based on business problems that exist and/or opportunities identified.
  16. Recommend the appropriate action required to address business changes in conjunction with impact-aware thinking in terms of the broader ecosystem.
  17. Consults to management (both IT and business) on business procedures and policies.
  18. Design and maintain regular status reports to management on status and other metrics.
  19. Expert level of competency in analysis and modeling of complex business processes.
  20. Writing requirements specification for large sized Information Systems.
  21. Track record in Software Development.
  22. End to end experience of the project lifecycle.
  23. Specialization Area (Subject Matter Specialist) - Accounting.
  24. High level knowledge of HR and SAP SuccessFactors / HCM systems.
  25. HR processing experience within a Project Environment.
  26. Excellent communication skills and business acumen.
  27. Optimizing and implementing (new) data processes and systems.
  28. Maintain HR data tools, reporting, and dashboards.
  29. Respond to HR data requests on an ad hoc basis by gathering, analyzing, and reporting relevant data from various sources.
  30. Maintain HR data integrity by ensuring the accuracy and consistency of input data.
  31. Support data governance processes.
  32. Develop & maintain a data glossary.
  33. Ensure that the master data maintenance is done and quality assessment of master data is done to ensure good data quality.
  34. Partner with AIT on system upgrades and analyses.
  35. Responsible for addressing a high volume of system-related activities in a timely fashion while maintaining a high level of quality and internal customer satisfaction.
  36. Solution Design & Implementation & Specifications Development.
  37. Works closely with the Business Application Manager, Implementation Partner, project support administrator, other Business Analysts and project/work delivery managers to design and implement the best possible solution within the constraints of the tools available.
  38. Facilitates the implementation of new or enhanced processes.
  39. Owns systems, user acceptance testing and implementation of changes or new applications.
  40. Investigates and defines requirements for business processes.
  41. Documents requirements including data modeling, interface layouts, data flows, screen and report layouts, etc.
  42. Document defects.
  43. Document system enhancements.
  44. Manage change control process and quality assurance.
  45. System Testing: Tests systems and user acceptance and implements changes or new applications.
  46. Ensures all testing protocols are adhered to.
  47. Test Automation: Creating Release notes.
  48. Review the test plan and test scripts to ensure quality and coverage.
  49. System Support, User Support, Problem Management and Training.
  50. Provide front line support to end users responding to issues related to Problem / Incident Management, Release / Deployment, Operational Readiness, Application Monitoring, Production Governance related to issues.
  51. Renders support and facilitates sessions for end-users, including training.
  52. Provides direct support and coaching to all levels of managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through transition.
  53. Carry out activities related to incident and problem management.
  54. Conduct root cause analysis and dispatch to scrum teams for resolution.
  55. Firm understanding of ITIL processes.
  56. Customer service review meetings with Brands.
  57. Record business requirements and prioritize system changes with Brands.
  58. Provide business with a monthly review of services provided and status of planned changes and enhancements.
  59. Handles escalations from business and is the lead with regard to Problem Management.
  60. Negotiate SLAs and OLAs with business.
  61. Attends and reviews management meetings with brands monthly.
  62. Documents and agrees processes and procedures in place.
  63. Project Management: Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.
  64. Escalating issues in a timely manner and suggesting improvements and proposing solutions.
  65. Tracking and recording the delivery of high quality products on time while working closely with team members and following project methodologies.
  66. Follow up with scrum teams to resolve production issues.
  67. Collaborate with various teams to prioritize.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in (Information Systems, Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology) - NQF 7 or Bachelor's degree in (Accounting) - NQF 7.

Professional certifications are an added advantage; however, should a candidate have a proven track record of work within the listed key performance areas, the qualification requirement may be reduced.
