One of our retail clients is looking for an experienced Group Financial Manager (CA) to join their team, reporting to the CEO.

Qualifications and Experience:
  1. Matric
  2. CA(SA) – Chartered Accountant (South Africa), registered with SAICA (South African Institute of Chartered Accountants)
  3. Compliance with ongoing CPD (Continuous Professional Development) requirements as per SAICA regulations
  4. 5 to 10 years post qualification with at least three years working in a financial management role in a retail or manufacturing environment
  5. Used to working in a small to medium enterprise and able to successfully implement best practice financial systems in such an environment
  6. Clear credit record
  7. Great track record as reference checks will be conducted upfront
  8. MS Outlook – intermediate
  9. MS Word – intermediate
  10. MS PowerPoint – intermediate
  11. MS Excel – advanced
  12. XERO Accounting Package – advanced user
  13. SAAS – Browser Based Software
  14. Greater understanding of AI Technology and applied principles

  8. Drafting and implementing financial policies
  9. Implement automated aging reports and credit control measures

  17. Trust liquidity
  18. Advise CEO regarding balancing equity and debt payments, investments and risks

  22. Use Spotlight Reporting integrated with XERO, for treasury reports
  23. Present annual financial budget to management
  24. Review budget performance on a monthly basis
  25. Review tax calculations
  26. SARS audits and disputes
  27. CAPEX budget
  28. Asset lifecycle management
  29. Risk assessment and insurance for fixed assets
  30. ROI analysis
  31. Company Secretariat functions
  32. BEEE
  33. Project Assessments and Feasibility Studies
