Duties & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Loading and unloading incoming and outgoing materials and products, including 20-foot and 40-foot containers.
- Moving materials between loading areas, delivery vehicles and designated warehouse storage areas.
- Identifying, labelling and recording materials and their storage locations to support accurate inventory control.
- Preparing finished products for dispatch, including locating, picking, packing, re-bagging and loading products.
- Operating forklifts, pallet trucks and other material-handling equipment safely and responsibly.
- Conducting cycle counts and assisting with monthly stock counts.
- Reporting stock discrepancies or warehouse-related issues when identified.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment.
- Complying with all company warehouse procedures, health and safety requirements and operational guidelines.
- Performing other reasonable warehouse-related duties as required.
