Do you have at least three years of experience as the primary contact, overseeing the coordination between the sales team, suppliers, customers, and operational needs?

Our client in Table View is seeking someone with strong Excel skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work independently to plan, source, and provide internal sales support to the team.

This position demands proficiency in financial administration, including managing quotes and costings, along with the capability to efficiently juggle various operational tasks.

POSITION INFO : REQUIREMENTS

  • Intermediary Excel along with experience with the creating of and process of proformas and sales orders (Pastel) or other accounting software essential
  • Financial experience to assist with costings and quotes
  • Customer service driven, strong organisational skills ensuring completion of tasks
  • Ability to read building plans
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.

DUTIES

  • Coordinate project tasks related to sales to ensure seamless information flow between departments and external parties
  • Organize and prioritize tasks, delegate responsibilities, and gather feedback to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Upon receiving and comprehending the initial brief provided by the client, engage in further dialogue, and pose additional questions to refine and tailor the specifics of the project requirements
  • Manage communication channels with clients to ensure timely responses and information flow
  • Consult with the dispatch team to ensure customer requirements are booked and communicated effectively
  • Oversee sales projects and function as lead salesperson when required
  • Maintain physical and digital filing systems, databases, and spreadsheets
  • Create and manage filing systems, update spreadsheets, and store sensitive information securely
  • Read and interpret architectural plans and specifications to accurately assess project requirements, including obtaining measurements from plans, and recommend appropriate tile solutions
  • Interpret measurements provided by customers to quote accurately

Salary : R negotiable dependent on experience
