About the Role
Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Virtual Event Catering Coordinator to join their dynamic remote team. You will be responsible for coordinating the logistical aspects of catering for virtual and hybrid events, ensuring a smooth and delightful experience for clients and attendees. This role involves close collaboration with chefs, event planners, and logistics partners to manage menus, deliveries, and client communications. You will play a crucial part in scaling our client's innovative catering services for a global audience, leveraging technology to bridge geographical gaps and deliver personalized culinary solutions. The ideal candidate is an organized self-starter with excellent communication skills, thriving in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate all catering logistics for virtual and hybrid events, from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up.
- Liaise with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and dietary restrictions for event menus.
- Manage relationships with remote catering partners and delivery services to ensure punctuality and quality.
- Prepare event proposals, contracts, and invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during event execution to ensure client satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous experience in event coordination, catering, or hospitality, preferably in a remote setting.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills , with the ability to build rapport with clients and vendors.
- Proficiency in using virtual collaboration tools and event management software.
