The Junior Research and Investment Analyst will be responsible for fund research and general investment research, client service and investment support, sales support, investment reporting and publications, presentations within the business and general administration.

Key outcomes

  1. Thorough manager research, understand and explain collective investment schemes (including ETF's, Retail Hedge Funds and offshore funds) performance, positioning and mandates.
  2. Investment publications and reporting.
  3. General investment research: Analyse, interpret and disseminate market and economic information. Initiate research on current investment-related topics.
  4. Client service (telephonic, email and face-to-face).
  5. Related administration responsibilities.
  6. Provide general investment support to Company's investment and consulting divisions.
  7. Present investment-related information to internal business units.
  8. Write articles on research/industry/investment topics in English.
  9. Assist with the maintenance of proprietary research and investment tools.

Qualifications and experience

  1. FA Level 1 or equivalent, with higher level qualification beneficial.
  2. Relevant experience in a retail financial environment would be an advantage.
  3. Knowledge of economic principles and retail financial environment.
  4. Be willing to travel nationally if required.
