Medipost Pharmacy has an opportunity open looking for a Packer to join the Funded team.

Primary purpose of the job

The following are the primary responsibilities of this person:

1. Ensure that all daily functions and operations comply with KDC's written SOPs, Good Warehousing and Distribution Practices, Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations, and KDC's Quality Management System.
2. Adhere to good housekeeping practices.
3. Maintain constant communication between warehouse staff to address expectations, requirements, and compliance.
4. Accurately pack orders as per the generated invoice.
5. Use appropriate box labels on the shippers (cytotoxic, fragile, dawn delivery, mixed batches, urgent, etc.).
6. Count and weigh packed shippers and generate waybills and box labels.
7. Ensure the quantity of shippers is displayed on the box labels.
8. Prioritize the packing of back-orders and urgent orders.
9. Handle stock properly to eliminate damages and report any such damages immediately to the warehouse manager.
10. Consolidate orders before handover to dispatch.
11. Participate in annual stock take.

• Matric with 50% in Pure Maths or 60% in Maths Literacy.
