About the Role
Our client, a well-regarded early learning center in Nelspruit , is seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Childhood Education Coordinator . This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the curriculum, pedagogical practices, and daily operations of the early years program, ensuring a high-quality, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. You will work closely with educators, parents, and management to foster child development and learning. This position requires a passion for early childhood education, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to creating a positive and enriching experience for both children and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor the early childhood curriculum, ensuring it meets developmental and educational standards.
- Provide leadership and professional development support to early years educators.
- Oversee daily center operations, including child safety, health, and well-being protocols.
- Maintain effective communication channels with parents, addressing their concerns and involving them in their child's education.
- Manage administrative tasks, including enrollment, record-keeping, and staff scheduling.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in early childhood education, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of child development theories and best practices in early childhood pedagogy.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is essential.
