Electrician Ref

• Valid code EC driver's license and PrDP.
• Experience in maintenance of Heavy Duty Vehicles.
• Experience in fault finding and maintenance of an electronically controlled vehicle.

Management system and heavy diesel vehicles.

• Relevant supervisory experience.

JOB OUTPUTS

• Carry out diagnostic tests to determine faults on Electronically Controlled Vehicles.
• Carry out electrical and mechanical repairs including systems and components.
• Carry out maintenance on Electronically Controlled Vehicle Management system at predetermined intervals.
• Carry out in-situ diagnostic inspections as part of the maintenance program.
• Diagnose problems with major electrical systems in a range of commercial vehicles.
• Test various commercial vehicles' electrical systems for performance and safety.
• Overhaul starters and alternators for various diesel engines.
• Strip and assess replacement parts and install new parts.
• Reassemble starters and alternators.
• Test starters and alternators on the test bench.
• Electrical fault finding on vehicles.
• Work according to safety regulations and Company policies and procedures.
• Adhere to workshop Health and Safety procedures.
• Handle all related workshop administration.
