Altair Engineering is seeking a skilled C / C++ Developer (f / m / d) with expertise in developing advanced simulation tools and a strong background in electromagnetic theory to contribute to the development of Altair's high-frequency electromagnetic solvers.
What You Will Do- Collaborate with leading electromagnetics solver experts to design, implement, and optimize C / C++ algorithms, driving new features and enhancing the performance and capabilities of Altair Feko.
- Partner closely with Product Management and Quality Assurance teams to deliver cutting-edge extensions to Altair's electromagnetic simulation tools, ensuring they reach the market on time and with high quality.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering / Information Technology or related field.
- At least 2 - 3 years of expertise in C / C++ software development (with a focus on computational software development).
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality software projects on time.
- Experience developing software for Microsoft Windows and Linux.
- Basic knowledge of electromagnetics and an interest in electromagnetics applications.
- Must be self-motivated, inquisitive, and able to work without a lot of guidance as well as part of a team.
