In This Role, You Will

1. Effectively plan, organize, lead and control finishing materials and wadding based on production requirements to support departmental KPI's.
2. Maintain good safety, housekeeping, storage and housekeeping standards in work area.
3. Incumbent is directly responsible for wastepaper, wetlap, virgin fiber, chemicals, finishing materials and wadding system stock accuracy vs Physical stock to enable accuracy in planning production.
4. Responsible for managing daily cycle counts, organizing and coordinating full counts of waste paper, wetlap, virgin fiber, chemicals, wadding and finishing Materials.
5. Call-off consignment stock from suppliers to ensure sufficient materials are available for production and to keep materials to the required maximum.
6. Direct accountability for control and efficient operation of Warehouse Control System (WCS) for wastepaper, wetlap, finishing materials and wadding.
7. Control and manage trial materials, facilitate runouts by managing slow moving and redundant wastepaper, wetlap, virgin fiber, finishing materials and wadding to ensure minimum stock levels are maintained.
8. Collaborate with Production Planning to reduce Finishing Materials and Wadding holding value.
9. Liaise with Wadding Planner regarding revised plans.
10. Oversee the movement, routing and processing of NCR's and substandard Wadding.
11. Responsible for the daily SAP processing of wastepaper, wetlap, virgin fiber finishing materials and wadding movements.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:

Minimum Requirements

1. Grade 12 and a Diploma in Logistics Management.
2. Minimum of 2 years' experience in a FMCG raw materials environment.
3. At least 1 year of demonstrated Leadership experience.
4. Intermediate knowledge of SAP - essential.
5. Intermediate Microsoft Excel Skills - essential.
