• Effective maintenance of defective electrical or electronic equipment;
• Installation of electrical or electronic equipment to laid down specifications;
• Preventative maintenance as per program;
• Adherence to health and safety rules at all times;
• Commitment and compliance to the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 22000, HACCP, 20 Keys, AFMA code of conduct, and any other company management systems.

• A qualified Electrician with a minimum N3 certificate and be in possession of a trade test certificate;
• A minimum of 3 years maintenance experience in a production environment;
• PLC experience would be an advantage;
• A wireman's license would be an advantage;
• Be pro-active and able to use own initiative;
• Previous experience in an animal feed manufacturing plant would be an advantage;
• Must be prepared to work overtime, shifts and/or standby;
• Must have own transport;
• Personal and professional integrity;
• Work effectively in a team environment;
• Ability to progress in a multi-skilled environment and a willingness to learn.
