We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Advertising And Promotions Manager to lead our marketing initiatives. This role is ideal for someone passionate about creative storytelling, brand management, and delivering impactful campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develops advertising and promotional campaigns tailored to target audiences.
  2. Creates promotional calendars, outlining the schedule and type of promotions (sales, contests, special offers, etc.).
  3. Works with the creative team to design impactful campaigns.
  4. Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies.
  5. Develops and manages customer loyalty programs, integrating them into promotional campaigns to drive engagement and retention.

Media Planning & Buying:

  1. Decides on the best media channels (TV, radio, digital, print, etc.) to run ads.
  2. Negotiates with media vendors and buys advertising space or time.
  3. Tracks and analyzes the effectiveness of different media buys to ensure maximum ROI.

Budget Management:

  1. Manages the budget for advertising and promotional campaigns, ensuring funds are allocated efficiently.
  2. Monitors campaign spending and adjusts where necessary to stay within budget while achieving goals.

Brand Coordination:

  1. Ensures all promotional activities are consistent with the brand's identity, message, and values.
  2. Collaborates with other departments (sales, product, digital, etc.) to align marketing efforts.
  3. Plans and manages Corporate Social Investment (CSI) projects to ensure they align with the company's values and enhance brand identity.

Market Research & Analysis:

  1. Analyzes market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behaviour to identify opportunities for promotions.
  2. Measures the success of campaigns, collecting data on consumer response, engagement, and sales.

Vendor and Partner Relations:

  1. Works with external partners like media agencies, influencers, and promotional partners to execute campaigns.
  2. Manages relationships with sponsors, influencers, or other collaborators involved in promotional activities.

Sales and Performance Tracking:

  1. Uses key performance indicators (KPIs) like sales figures, traffic, and brand awareness metrics to evaluate success.
  2. Writes detailed reports on campaign performance, tracking key metrics like sales, customer acquisition, and engagement to evaluate success.

Creativity and Innovation:

  1. Continuously looks for new ways to creatively promote the brand through innovative campaigns.
  2. Develops engaging, compelling offers that drive customer interest and loyalty.

Cross-functional Team Collaboration:

  1. Works with the marketing, sales, product development, and design teams to align promotional strategies with broader company goals.
  2. Collaborates with event planners for promotional events or product launches.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. A degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is required.
  2. At least 10 years of proven experience in marketing, advertising or promotions and PR, with a focus on retail.
  3. Experience in Project Management.
  4. Strong background in managing loyalty programs.
