Advertising And Promotions Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Advertising And Promotions Manager to lead our marketing initiatives. This role is ideal for someone passionate about creative storytelling, brand management, and delivering impactful campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops advertising and promotional campaigns tailored to target audiences.
- Creates promotional calendars, outlining the schedule and type of promotions (sales, contests, special offers, etc.).
- Works with the creative team to design impactful campaigns.
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies.
- Develops and manages customer loyalty programs, integrating them into promotional campaigns to drive engagement and retention.
Media Planning & Buying:
- Decides on the best media channels (TV, radio, digital, print, etc.) to run ads.
- Negotiates with media vendors and buys advertising space or time.
- Tracks and analyzes the effectiveness of different media buys to ensure maximum ROI.
Budget Management:
- Manages the budget for advertising and promotional campaigns, ensuring funds are allocated efficiently.
- Monitors campaign spending and adjusts where necessary to stay within budget while achieving goals.
Brand Coordination:
- Ensures all promotional activities are consistent with the brand's identity, message, and values.
- Collaborates with other departments (sales, product, digital, etc.) to align marketing efforts.
- Plans and manages Corporate Social Investment (CSI) projects to ensure they align with the company's values and enhance brand identity.
Market Research & Analysis:
- Analyzes market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behaviour to identify opportunities for promotions.
- Measures the success of campaigns, collecting data on consumer response, engagement, and sales.
Vendor and Partner Relations:
- Works with external partners like media agencies, influencers, and promotional partners to execute campaigns.
- Manages relationships with sponsors, influencers, or other collaborators involved in promotional activities.
Sales and Performance Tracking:
- Uses key performance indicators (KPIs) like sales figures, traffic, and brand awareness metrics to evaluate success.
- Writes detailed reports on campaign performance, tracking key metrics like sales, customer acquisition, and engagement to evaluate success.
Creativity and Innovation:
- Continuously looks for new ways to creatively promote the brand through innovative campaigns.
- Develops engaging, compelling offers that drive customer interest and loyalty.
Cross-functional Team Collaboration:
- Works with the marketing, sales, product development, and design teams to align promotional strategies with broader company goals.
- Collaborates with event planners for promotional events or product launches.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is required.
- At least 10 years of proven experience in marketing, advertising or promotions and PR, with a focus on retail.
- Experience in Project Management.
- Strong background in managing loyalty programs.
