Job Responsibilities
  • General Administration duties at the Risk Department.
  • Assist Risk Department with the review and amendments of the company's Safety Management System.
  • Compile Weekly & Monthly Reports.
  • Liaise with internal divisions on health, safety, and environmental issues.
  • Keep the Incident statistics updated on behalf of the Risk Department and assist as needed.
  • Prepare and update monthly Health, Safety & Environment Report for distribution to Top Management.
  • Assist Risk Department to revise/amend procedures as required.
  • Control filing and distribution of Risk Department procedures, work instructions, training manuals, and master documentation, and destroy any superseded documentation.
  • Attend monthly Health and Safety Committee meetings.
  • Take minutes of meetings and schedule them.
  • Administer all legal appointments.
  • Compile Risk presentations.
  • Ensure Safety Policy and relevant safety signs are displayed and communicated.
  • Assist with Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Audits.
  • Conduct EHS Inspections.
  • Ensure contractors comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Ensure that health, safety, and environmental training is provided.
  • Monitor hygiene requirements in relation to legislation.
  • Investigate incidents & accidents, report to management, and monitor actions.
  • Conduct critical task observations (lifting, scaffolding, confined space, heights, etc.).
  • Conduct safety induction training for visitors, contractors, and employees.
