Role purpose:This role is responsible for the portfolio management of key existing clients that are of significant strategic importance to the organisation by building and maintaining strong relationships.
The client relationship manager ensures that both parties deliver on their contractual commitments, build a mutually beneficial, sustainable relationship, and identify opportunities for new business within the client portfolio to convert into revenue growth.
Your objectives and responsibilities will focus on...- Build and maintain client relationships, serving as a trusted contact for key decision makers.
- Engage with clients to understand their overall strategy, business problems, and priorities.
- Achieve agreed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets that incorporate client retention and the sale of additional solutions.
- Engage with clients regularly and in line with a structured engagement model.
- Apply the Iress commercial ways of working in all activities.
- Produce and implement successful client management plans.
- Lead commercial negotiations and ongoing revenue forecasting for clients.
- Work with clients to implement and ensure adoption of Iress products.
- Support the delivery of new and enhanced product features to the market.
- Act as a point of escalation for client support teams.
- Build a network within the industry to promote Iress.
- Strong Investment Management industry experience and knowledge.
- Previous Portfolio Management experience is essential.
- Commercial awareness and ability to contribute to broader business conversations.
- A natural networker and strategic relationship builder.
- Proven track record of delivering against targets.
- Experience working cross-functionally to achieve results for clients.
- Clear and concise communication skills.
- Ability to engender quality across teams including in client communications.
- Modern thinker with a focus on practical, commercial outcomes.
