About the Role
Our client is seeking a motivated E-commerce Marketing Coordinator with a strong focus on social media to join their vibrant team in Sandton. This role is integral to enhancing the company's online presence and driving sales through strategic social media activities. You will be involved in executing digital marketing campaigns, creating engaging content, and monitoring social media performance to ensure alignment with business objectives and contribute to the overall growth of the e-commerce platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of social media marketing plans to support e-commerce sales goals.
- Create and schedule daily content for various social media platforms, ensuring brand consistency and audience engagement.
- Monitor social media channels, respond to customer comments and inquiries in a timely manner, and escalation issues as necessary.
- Support the execution of paid social media advertising campaigns, assisting with setup and tracking.
- Analyze social media metrics and contribute to regular performance reports.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on content creation, including writing copy, sourcing images, and basic video editing.
Requirements
- Experience in social media management or digital marketing, preferably within an e-commerce context.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms and their respective advertising capabilities.
- Good writing and communication skills, with an eye for detail.
