We are looking for a Cloud Solution Architect (CSA), specializing in Security to join our team of experts who support customers in their cloud journey. As a Security CSA, you will work with customers to understand their business needs, design and architect secure cloud solutions, and provide technical guidance and best practices.

You will own the security-focused technical relationship and strategy between the customer and Microsoft, including architecture, implementation, and operational health. You will specialize in the following categories: Cloud Security, Threat Protection & XDR, and Identity and Access Management.

You will collaborate with other Microsoft teams, partners, and vendors to deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer requirements and expectations. This role seamlessly integrates your passion for technology with a focus on fulfilling customer business needs, contributing to meeting customer demands while satisfying your eagerness for continuous learning and personal growth.

Responsibilities

You will land an end-to-end value prop for Security (i.e., Zero Trust) which spans the breadth of Microsoft Security offerings, focusing on Threat Protection, ID + Access Management, and Cloud Security.

You will support customers through the adoption lifecycle, through planning, adoption, deployment, and optimization, leading technical solutions and nurturing across the customer journey.

You will deliver technical presentations & demos and propose high-level solutions, working with key Microsoft and Partner resources to drive deployment & customer adoption, identifying cross-sell/upsell opportunities through customer engagement.

You will align your individual skilling to team/area demands and Customer Success goals, accelerating customer outcomes by sharing expertise and contributing to IP creation & re-use.

Run Architectural Design Sessions to build a plan for implementing the solution, governing design in line with customer business goals and their technical environment. The outcome is consensus on solution design and next steps toward production.

Collaborate and orchestrate with other Cloud Solution Architects and MS stakeholders, including FastTrack, partners, and Microsoft Consulting, in developing complex end-to-end Enterprise solutions with the Microsoft Security platform.

QualificationsRequired Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 4+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting.

Experience in consultative/complex technical security sales and deployment projects, architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of highly distributed applications.

Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications).

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 8+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting.

OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 6+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting.

4+ years of experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external).

4+ years of experience working on technical projects.

4+ years of success in consultative/complex technical security sales and deployment projects, architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of highly distributed applications.

Technical preferences in one or more of the following categories:

  • Threat Protection
  • Identity and Access Management

Certification in one or more of the following technologies preferred: Microsoft Azure Security Technologies, Cloud Security, Online Certificate Status Protocol, Global Information Assurance Certification, Incident Response.

Competitive landscape knowledge of cloud security platforms.

Enterprise-scale technical experience and the ability to learn new cloud security technologies and understand relevant cloud security market trends.

Experience in security and expertise around related technologies and concepts such as Zero Trust, threat management, Security Operations Center monitoring, Extended Detection & Response, Access Control, Cloud Security Architecture, and/or Data Security.
