Recruitment Consultant Lead (Technology & Mining)Our client represents a global OEM for earthmoving and mining equipment as an official exclusive dealer for two of the world's top machinery brands. Looking for a Drilling Equipment Sales Specialist for South Africa.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Mining Drilling Machinery Sales person to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales of mining drilling machinery, developing strong relationships with clients, and providing technical expertise to support customer needs. This role requires a combination of technical knowledge, sales acumen, and industry experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the mining sector.
- Provide technical consultation and support to customers on mining drilling machinery and equipment.
- Prepare and deliver product presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Work closely with the engineering and product teams to understand technical specifications and ensure customer requirements are met.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to close deals effectively.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and provide after-sales support.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in mining or civil drilling equipment.
- Strong understanding of mining drilling machinery, equipment specifications, and applications.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach.
- Willingness to travel extensively to meet clients and attend industry events.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
