Duties & Responsibilities

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure that the volume of ATM and CIT attacks and cash loss is kept to an absolute minimum.
  • Build an ATM physical security strategy to minimize the threat of cash and work with external parties to ensure that perpetrators of crimes against NCR are caught and sentenced.
  • Implement security tools at the ATM and across the wider network to protect against known and future threats.
  • Assess and analyze the latest industry threats to ensure safety for employees and equipment.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders for effective security and emergency response plans.
  • Investigate and report all incidents resulting in damage or loss of company property.
  • Oversee day-to-day security operations, including emergency response planning.
  • Control budgets for security operations and monitor expenses.
  • Deliver a comprehensive risk register and business continuity plan.
  • Create and implement "Best in Class" Security procedures and processes.
  • Conduct investigations into policy violations and advise management on disciplinary actions.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and investigate incidents.
  • Support Service Operations and the Global Security Team as necessary.
  • Maintain knowledge of security technologies and best practices.
  • Educate employees on security awareness and policies.
  • Execute weekly and monthly reports to stakeholders.
Desired Experience & Qualification

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Academic Grade 12.
  • Relevant tertiary degree / diploma in Security Management or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Security Manager or similar role.
  • Current and valid driving license (No endorsement)
  • Code 8 / 10.
  • Experience in ATM / Banking / Cash Handling.
  • Proficiency in security assessments, audits, and investigations.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Military / Law enforcement and business administration experience.

PETENCIES:

  • Creative problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Security awareness and aptitude for identifying improvements.
  • General ATM industry knowledge is an advantage.
  • Compliance and regulatory experience.
  • Ability to identify improvements within the organization.
