This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and driven social-first content creator to take responsibility for the creation of engaging, impactful, and relevant content for our retail clients. This person will work closely with the Social Content Producer, our social media managers, and in-house digital creative teams to produce quick-turnaround content that taps into social media trends, particularly for TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.

The ideal candidate must have a strong creative eye, excellent shooting and editing skills, and the ability to ideate and execute content that aligns with our clients' marketing objectives. This person should be highly adaptable, self-motivated, and always on top of the latest social content trends, able to identify which trends to leverage for different clients.

You must be well organized and have excellent creative and communication skills, be flexible, be self-motivated, multi-task, and most importantly, be adaptable. A positive and enthusiastic problem-solving attitude will get you far. The ability to apply strategic thinking and creativity to deliver top-of-the-range visual content is essential for this role.

This role calls for a talented, self-motivated all-rounder with the initiative to keep ahead of the digital content space. Ideally, you will be excited about technology, enjoy playing with new content creation and editing tools, and see challenges as opportunities.

Responsibilities:

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include identifying and responding to trending content opportunities, conceptualizing, shooting, and editing social-first content, and ensuring that all output aligns with our clients' brand objectives. You will play a key role in shaping and enhancing our clients' social media presence through innovative content executions.

Your focus will be largely centered around tactical proposals and executions for social media. Ideally, this would require you to collaborate very closely with our Social and Influencer Marketing departments to ensure ongoing access to online listening, trends, insights, and brand opportunities.

You will need to have experience managing creative products from start to finish; you would be required to ideate and deliver final creative products for social media and other online channels. From conceptualizing and storyboarding ideas through to creating the execution of content – filming, lighting & editing to photographing & retouching.

  1. Conceptualize, storyboard, and execute social-first content, including video, photography, and motion graphics - pre-planned, ad-hoc, and quick turn-around visual content creation.
  2. Collaborate closely with the content producer, social media managers, and in-house creative teams to develop engaging content for social platforms.
  3. Postproduction: Editing, retouching, etc.
  4. Excellent proposal and presentation skills with the ability to build client relationships.
  5. Clear understanding of production requirements and be able to work effectively within timelines and budgets.
  6. Ability to multitask several creative projects and able to work under tight deadlines.
  7. Be on the forefront of trends and innovations on the local & international landscape for social media, photography, videography, and editing techniques.
  8. Shoot and edit content using a variety of tools, including TikTok's in-app editor, CapCut, Adobe Premiere, and other relevant software.
  9. Ensure all content is aligned with clients' brand messaging, marketing goals, and visual identity.
  10. Manage and maintain content production equipment, ensuring readiness for on-the-go content creation.
  11. Actively participate in creative A/B and content performance testing.

Requirements

Experience:

  1. Relevant degree and/or qualifications.
  2. 3-5 years' relevant experience.
  3. Portfolio displaying your own conceptual and strategic design and editing/storytelling skills.
  4. Experience with diverse types of production equipment and software.
  5. Experience in creating and executing brand content for social and online platforms including email, website, app, and/or paid media.
