About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Skincare Specialist to join their innovative online beauty and wellness team. In this pivotal remote role, you will be instrumental in developing and delivering exceptional virtual client consultations, crafting personalized skincare routines, and providing expert advice to a diverse clientele across South Africa. You will leverage your deep knowledge of dermatological principles, product ingredients, and treatment modalities to enhance client satisfaction and drive engagement with our client's cutting-edge digital platform. This position is ideal for a proactive professional who excels in a remote work environment and is passionate about the intersection of technology and personalized beauty care, contributing significantly to client success and the company's online reputation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive virtual skincare consultations via video conferencing and digital platforms, assessing client needs and recommending appropriate treatment plans and product regimens.
- Develop and implement customized skincare routines and product recommendations based on client's skin type, concerns, and goals.
- Provide expert guidance on product usage, ingredient benefits, and advanced skincare techniques, ensuring clients achieve optimal results.
- Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, scientific research, and emerging technologies in dermatology and aesthetic skincare.
- Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to create educational content, including blog posts, webinars, and social media advice.
- Maintain detailed client records and follow-up communications to ensure ongoing satisfaction and adherence to recommended protocols.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a licensed esthetician, skincare therapist, or similar role, with a strong focus on client consultation and treatment planning.
- Proven expertise in diagnosing various skin conditions and recommending effective, evidence-based solutions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and virtual client management skills.
- Proficiency in using digital communication tools and virtual consultation software.
- Aesthetic certifications or specialized training in advanced skincare techniques are highly advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work setting.
